Schneider

Germany

The Schneider name represents two family-run estates in Baden, Germany. The Reinhold & Cornelia Schneider estate was founded in 1981 and is now overseen by their son Alexander, while the older Claus Schneider estate, established in 1892, remains family-owned, with Johannes Schneider directing winemaking and Christoph Schneider managing sales. Both estates follow low-intervention principles. The Claus estate is moving toward organic certification and produces the natural-wine line Haus Gupi, with spontaneous fermentation, extended lees aging, minimal sulphur use and unfiltered bottlings reflecting their hands-off approach.
