Sassetti Livio Pertimali

Italy

Sassetti Livio Pertimali is a fourth-generation family estate in Montalcino, Tuscany, on the Montosoli hill, today run by Lorenzo Sassetti and his wife Sabina. A founding family of the Brunello Consortium, the estate remains firmly family-owned and focused on Brunello di Montalcino from Sangiovese Grosso. Farming is certified organic and sustainable, with manual vineyard work and a low-intervention approach guided by respect for terroir and native varieties. Lorenzo’s winemaking balances tradition with a modern touch, favoring shorter macerations to preserve freshness, elegance, and velvety tannins. The wines are described as traditional, territorial, perfumed, and ageworthy, with notable balance and finesse.
