Salvano is a family-owned winery based in Diano d’Alba in Piedmont’s Langhe, with roots described from the 1930s and also from the 1960s. Founded by Angelo Salvano and continued by later generations together with the Sobrero family, it remains under joint family ownership. The estate describes a philosophy centered on careful grape selection, passionate vineyard work, and quality at every stage from vine to cellar. Its vineyards are in Diano d’Alba, with references also to sites across the Langhe and Roero. The winery has modernized over time, expanded beyond local sales into international export markets, and is also known for its winery bistro, Fosco Bistrot, which pairs its wines with traditional Piedmontese cuisine.
