Vignobles Dauny

France

Vignoble Dauny is a family-owned Sancerre estate in the Loire Valley, cultivated by the Dauny family since 1683 and now run by Nicole, Christian, Benoît and Thibaut Dauny. The vineyard is organically certified and has been farmed without chemical fertilizers, herbicides, insecticides or synthetic fungicides since its full conversion to organic agriculture in 1964. Soil care includes tillage, natural grassing and plant-based preparations, with copper and sulfur used when necessary. The estate produces Sancerre Blanc from Sauvignon Blanc, alongside Sancerre Rouge and Rosé from Pinot Noir, in a range including Les Caillottes, Terres Blanches, Clos du Roy, Cuvée Romble and Pynoz. Winemaking emphasizes natural balance, limited additives and a preference for indigenous yeasts.
