Vignoble Drouard is a family-run estate in Château-Thébaud, in the Nantais area of France’s Loire Valley, cultivated by the Drouard family since 1878 and now involving the fifth and sixth generations. The brothers Jean-Paul, Laurent, Denis and Pascal oversee the domaine, with Clément and Tom representing the next generation. Its vineyards lie across three distinctive terroirs—Château-Thébaud granite, Clisson granite and the flint-rich Sillon de Bretagne—supporting a broad range led by Muscadet Sèvre & Maine, alongside other Loire Valley whites, rosés, reds and sparkling wines. The family describes its approach as a balance of technical development and ancestral methods, with careful attention to vineyard timing, fermentation, blending and bottling. The domaine also welcomes visitors for vineyard walks, cellar tours and tastings.
