Torpez is the historic Saint-Tropez wine cave, founded in 1908 by local growers and still expressing the character of the Provençal coast. Its vineyards lie between the Mediterranean, the Gulf of Saint-Tropez and the Massif des Maures, across shallow, stony soils of granite and mica-schist moderated by sea breezes. Grapes are hand-harvested at daybreak to preserve freshness, producing rosé, white and red wines marked by elegance, balance, minerality and a saline edge. The estate is also committed to preserving the distinctive “Jardins de vignes” landscape and its biodiversity. Under director-oenologist Alain Guichet, Torpez combines its long local history with a new production site and an active programme of tastings, harvest events and cultural activities celebrating Saint-Tropez’s viticultural heritage.
