Italy

Sommariva is a family-run producer in San Pietro di Feletto, in Veneto’s Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG hills. Founded in the late 1970s by Caterino and Urbana Sommariva, the winery is now led by their daughter Cinzia, who left accounting to devote herself full-time to the estate, working with winemaker Renato De Noni. Deeply rooted in the local UNESCO-listed landscape, Sommariva focuses on Glera and sparkling wines with strong territorial identity, including single-vineyard Rive expressions such as Collalbrigo Costa and San Michele. Farming emphasizes hand harvests, biodiversity, and integrated sustainable practices, including SQNPI adherence. In the cellar, traditional Prosecco methods are paired with modern technology used discreetly to preserve freshness, finesse, and the original character of the grapes.
