Pietracupa

Italy

Pietracupa is a family-owned estate in Montefredane, Irpinia, founded in the early 1990s by Giuseppe Loffredo and now owned and run by Sabino Loffredo, who is also the winemaker. The winery focuses on small-production expressions of Campanian varieties including Fiano, Greco, Falanghina, and Aglianico. Its vineyards are rooted in loamy, calcareous soils with clay and limestone, with volcanic clay noted for Taurasi DOCG sites. The estate’s style is defined by deliberately limited production and a clear focus on local grapes. No organic, biodynamic, or other sustainability certifications are mentioned in the available sources.
