Piero Busso

Italy

Piero Busso is a family-owned estate in Neive, in Piedmont’s Barbaresco area, with vineyards between Neive and Treiso including Albesani, Gallina, Mondino and San Stunet. Founded by Guido Busso and later led by Piero Busso alongside Lucia, Emanuela and Pierguido, the winery is rooted in a long family history and hands-on involvement. Farming is organic, with no herbicides and only natural compounds, and work in the vineyard and cellar is guided by respect for the territory and minimal intervention. Wines are vinified parcel by parcel, with natural fermentations, long macerations, restrained extraction, and aging mainly in large oak barrels to let each site speak clearly. Barbaresco is the heart of the range.
