Oddero

Italy

Oddero is a historic family estate based in La Morra, with documented roots in the late 18th century and seven generations of continuity in the Langhe. Still family-owned, it is overseen by Giacomo Oddero and run by Mariavittoria and Mariacristina Oddero with the next generation, Isabella and Pietro, while Isabella Oddero and Cristina Oddero lead the winemaking side. The estate farms important sites across Barolo, Barbaresco and Asti, and emphasizes meticulous work from pruning through long ageing. Oddero completed organic conversion in 2017 and holds Valoritalia certification, alongside sustainable practices such as chemical-free weed control, organic fertilization, green manure, hail netting and an energy-efficient, low-impact cellar that combines historic and modern spaces.
