Los Bermejos is a boutique producer on Lanzarote in the Canary Islands, revived in 2001 and now owned and run by winemaker Ignacio Valdera. The estate is rooted in the island’s volcanic landscape, with vines planted in deep hoyo pits and all vineyard work carried out by hand. Its approach centers on meticulous, low-yield viticulture, and some vintages are organically certified. Los Bermejos also works with growers who share its sustainable farming practices. Historically family-owned, the winery stands out for its hands-on ownership, manual vineyard work, and strong connection to Lanzarote’s distinctive growing conditions.
