United States

Lokoya is a California Cabernet Sauvignon producer founded in 1995 by Jess Jackson and Barbara Banke and owned by Jackson Family Wines. The label is devoted to four celebrated Napa mountain appellations—Diamond Mountain, Howell Mountain, Spring Mountain, and Mount Veeder—crafting 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from high-elevation sites. Led by winemaker Christopher Carpenter, Lokoya emphasizes site expression through native-yeast fermentations, low-intervention cellar work, and bottling unfined and unfiltered. The wines are known for tension, structure, aromatic intensity, and a hedonistic texture, with the concentration and tannin to age for decades. Sustainability is a stated core value, with Napa estate vineyards organically certified by CCOF and farmed with regenerative practices including cover crops, composting, grazing, biochar, and minimum tillage.
