Founded in 1870 on Madeira Island, Justino’s is a historic, character-driven producer whose grapes come from sun-drenched vineyards planted on steep terraces over volcanic basalt soils. The fruit is brought to the winery outside Funchal, where the wines are aged in oak barrels. Its range includes Madeira wines such as the full-bodied, harmonious Fine Rich, marked by exotic-fruit, nut and wood aromas, as well as Sercial and table wines under the Colombo label. Recently acquired by the Gran Cruz Porto Group, Justino’s combines a long Madeira tradition with substantial wine stocks and island-sourced fruit.
