2022 · Chardonnay

Jonas Dostert is a young, family-run vigneron based in Nittel on the Mosel River, where he owns and operates his boutique winery. Working with Elbling and Chardonnay on limestone soils and gentle 30° slopes, he follows a natural, low-intervention approach focused on freshness and terroir expression. Older vineyard parcels have been organically certified since 2012. The wines are moderate in alcohol, typically 10–12% ABV, and are mainly aged in large fûts. With a small-scale production and a second vintage recorded in 2019, Dostert’s wines reflect the hands-on work of their namesake proprietor and sole winemaker.
