Finca Sobreño (Bodegas Sobreño) is a family-owned estate in Toro, Spain, founded in 1998 by a group of Rioja winemakers. The winery owns 80 hectares of vineyards, with over half of the vines exceeding 30 years old, and controls an additional 90 hectares through exclusive agreements. It is committed to sustainable viticulture, with more than a quarter of its vineyards certified organic, and avoids herbicides and synthetic products. The focus is exclusively on the native Tinta de Toro variety, using low-density planting and reduced yields to produce elegant, balanced wines. Winemaking, overseen by Oscar Martín, combines modern stainless-steel fermentation with brief American oak aging. The estate exports 75% of its production to 25 countries.
