Dufouleur Frères

France

Dufouleur Frères is a family-owned Burgundy producer based in Nuits-Saint-Georges, where the Dufouleur family has been rooted for more than 400 years. Founded in 1932 and now led by François-Xavier, Marc, and Jean Dufouleur, it works both as a grower and négociant, with a focus on the Côte de Nuits and selected regional appellations. The domaine follows a pragmatic sustainable approach, avoiding fertilizers and herbicides, working for soil health and biodiversity, and holding HVE Level 3 certification. Their wines aim for balance and harmony rather than power, with some cuvées blending multiple lieu-dits to express terroir in a given vintage. The house also supports the local Hospices de Nuits auction, ageing and bottling selected lots in its own cellars.
