Domaine Vincent & François Jouard

France

Domaine Vincent & François Jouard is a six-generation family estate in Chassagne-Montrachet, Burgundy, run by brothers Vincent and François Jouard with the involvement of the next generation, Pierre-Henri. The domaine farms limestone-clay vineyards in the Côte de Beaune, with vines averaging around 45 years old and many over 50. Its sustainable approach includes no herbicides, hand-plowed soils, reasoned disease protection, and parcel-by-parcel hand harvesting. The estate focuses primarily on white wines, aged for eleven months in oak—one-third new—and bottled under nitrogen to preserve freshness.
