Producer

Domaine Julien Cécillon

France

Julien Cécillon is a Rhône Valley producer founded in 2011, with vineyards in the Saint-Joseph and Crozes-Hermitage appellations. Grapes come from both estate-owned and sourced vineyards, including sites with gravel soils, and the winery itself occupies a former gravel warehouse. Winemaking is led by Julien Cécillon and his American wife, Nancy Kerschen. The wines are hand-harvested, fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel, with a mix of destemmed and whole-cluster fruit, then aged for 18 months in a combination of older and new oak barrels. No sustainability certifications or specific environmental practices are reported in the available notes.
