Domaine Jacky Marteau is a fourth-generation, family-owned estate in Touraine, in France’s Loire Valley. The 29 hectares are farmed sustainably, with the domaine referencing certified parcels, and are planted primarily to Sauvignon Blanc and Gamay. Purchased in 2010 by siblings Ludivine “Lulu” and Rodolphe Marteau, the estate is now solely managed by Ludivine, who is also the principal winemaker. The domaine’s history remains closely tied to the family: founder Jacky Marteau contributed to winemaking, while Rodolphe previously worked in the vineyards and cellar. Its wines reflect a continuing family commitment to estate-grown Loire varieties and hands-on production.
