Domaine de l'Amaurigue

France

Domaine de l’Amaurigue is a family-owned AOP Côtes de Provence estate in Le Luc, Provence, run by the Dutch De Groot family since 1998. Set among wooded hills on clay-limestone soils, the domaine combines its historic setting with on-site winemaking and a modern cellar. Its HVE-certified vineyards follow agroecological practices focused on biodiversity, soil health, water management and resilience to heat and drought. Winemaker Jean-Marie Quef oversees a range of vegan Provence wines, including rosés, reds and whites. Harvesting is largely carried out at night, with careful grape selection, low-pressure pressing, temperature-controlled fermentation and gravity-led cellar work used to preserve freshness and aromatic character. The rosés have received multiple gold medals in national and international competitions.
