Domaine Arlaud

France

Domaine Arlaud is a family-owned estate in Morey-Saint-Denis, in the heart of Burgundy’s Côte de Nuits. Founded in 1942 by Joseph Arlaud and now led by his grandson Cyprien Arlaud, it combines family heritage with a precise, low-intervention approach. The domaine is certified organic and biodynamic, with handmade pruning and braiding, horse ploughing in key vineyards, and a strong focus on preserving living soils. Grapes are hand-harvested and carefully sorted, then fermented with natural yeasts and handled gently in the cellar. Aging uses modest levels of new oak, and wines are bottled according to lunar cycles without fining or filtration. The style aims for sincere, terroir-driven Burgundy marked by depth, elegance, and respect for nature.
