Diora is a family-owned brand made at the San Bernabe estate in Monterey’s Santa Lucia Highlands, part of the Delicato family of wines. Its estate-grown portfolio includes Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Rhône-style blends, shaped by the region’s sunny days and cooling breezes. Australian-born winemaker James Ewart has led Diora’s winemaking since arriving at San Bernabe in 2000, bringing a background in geology, chemistry and viticulture. He oversees a small-lot winery built in the vineyard and focuses on selecting suitable sites and expressing the character of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay clones. Inspired by the golden hills surrounding the estate, Diora represents a more than thirty-year vineyard-to-bottle journey.
