Diez Siglos

Spain

Diez Siglos is a cooperative of 65 winegrowers founded in 2009 in Rueda, Castilla y León. It operates on a significant scale, with about 380 hectares of vineyards and an annual production of approximately 4 million bottles. The winery is strongly defined by its sustainability agenda, holding 'Wineries for Climate Protection' certification. It has 30% organic vineyards with a goal of near-full conversion, a 6-million-litre rainwater reservoir, and 430 photovoltaic panels for energy self-sufficiency. The focus is on high-quality Verdejo, utilizing modern technology and practices like night harvesting. While it emphasizes tradition and a collective spirit, its structure and output align with a large, modern producer.
