Decoy Limited

Decoy Limited is a California producer launched in 2020 as the second label of the family-owned Duckhorn Portfolio. Its affordable-luxury wines draw on Duckhorn estate and top grower vineyards in Napa and Sonoma, with numerous small-lot fermentations supporting detailed blending. Winemaker Dana Epperson leads the program, including the use of premium French oak. Decoy itself has no specific certifications, but benefits from the Portfolio’s sustainability initiatives, including Certified California Sustainable Winegrowing, organic and fish-friendly farming, zero glyphosate use, cover crops, drip irrigation, and water-conservation measures. The brand shares Duckhorn’s winemaking talent, cooperage resources, and vineyard acquisitions while focusing on limited-production wines.
