Clos de la Cure

France

Clos de la Cure is an eighth-generation Bouyer family estate in Saint-Émilion, with vineyards on the Saint-Christophe des Bardes and Saint-Étienne de Lisse plateaus. The estate practices ecological viticulture and holds Haute Valeur Environnementale certification, among the first in Saint-Émilion. Winemaking is overseen by Louis Bouyer, who joined the family domaine in 2024 after experience in France and South Africa. Wines are made primarily from free-run juice, fermented in concrete tanks and aged for 12–15 months in French oak barrels, with 40–50% new oak.
