Château Campet is based in Saint-Caprais-de-Bordeaux in the Cadillac-Côtes de Bordeaux appellation. Its vineyards lie mainly on slopes over gravelly clay soils and are planted predominantly to Merlot, with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. The estate became associated with the Castel family in 2003, while the available information also records that Paul Parlange’s grandfather bought Château Campet in 1950. Paul Parlange, also identified as Paul-Henri Parlange, has managed the estate since 2006 and oversees its winemaking. The wines are shaped by a classic Bordeaux blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc. No organic or biodynamic certification is stated.
