France

Domaine Jean Bourdy is a family-owned estate in France’s Jura, now operated by the Bourdy family’s 15th generation. Jean-François Bourdy has led the estate’s commercial direction since 1990 and is its lead winemaker, bringing training in farming and winemaking alongside an MBA. He has overseen biodynamic farming for around two decades, with the estate holding Demeter certification since 2010. The domaine’s identity is rooted in long family continuity, hands-on stewardship, and biodynamic vineyard practices.
