Semillon Torrontes

Ballena del Sur is a boutique Argentine label based in Mendoza, sourcing fruit from high-altitude vineyards in the Valle de Uco. Created by the Zuccardi family in partnership with UK importer Les Caves de Pyrene, the wines are made under the direction of Sebastián Zuccardi at La Agricola Viñedos y Bodega. The range centres on a Sémillon-Torrontés white blend and a Malbec, using organically grown, and in some notes organically certified, grapes. Across the range, the focus is on sustainable, low-intervention production and expressive fruit from elevated Mendoza sites.
