Roots Wine Co. is a family-run Oregon producer founded and owned by Hilary and Chris Berg, with Chris serving as winemaker. Based in Yamhill, the estate is organically farmed and focuses on limited-production wines from Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris, with Mondeuse planned. The winery is known for an inventive spirit, including the 2018 “Cluster” Pinot Noir—born from a happy accident—and a particular interest in Uruguayan Tannat. It also operates its own facility and canning line, producing canned beverages such as “Cloud Factory,” a non-alcoholic Sauvignon Blanc juice infused with CBD.
