Rathfinny Wine Estate

United Kingdom

Founded by Mark and Sarah Driver in 2010, Rathfinny is a family-owned grower-producer in Alfriston, East Sussex, with a single-site vineyard on the chalk slopes of the South Downs. The estate specialises in elegant, vintage Sussex PDO sparkling wines made by the traditional method from hand-harvested grapes, whole-bunch pressed and matured on lees and in bottle, with low dosage to preserve fruit purity and terroir. Sustainability is central: the winery is self-sufficient in water, solar-powered, B Corp certified and uses low-intervention, chemical-free viticulture alongside recyclable packaging. Winemaker Miguel Symington oversees production, while the estate’s coastal setting contributes freshness and frost protection.
