Weingut Stefan Meyer

Germany

Stefan Meyer is a family-owned, third-generation estate in Rhodt unter Rietburg, Pfalz, operated by Stefan Meyer since 2011. Its vineyards are farmed organically and biodynamically, without chemicals, using manual harvesting and sorting, cover crops and natural grasses; the estate holds organic and Demeter certifications. Across varied clay, loam, sandstone, loess and limestone soils, the winery produces still and sparkling wines, including traditional Riesling, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and regional red varieties, with a focus on terroir and single-vineyard expression. In the cellar, spontaneous natural-yeast fermentations, stainless steel, large oak foudres, lees aging and minimal intervention combine traditional methods with youthful innovation.
