Producer

Paolo Scavino

Italy

Paolo Scavino is a fourth-generation, family-owned producer in Piedmont’s Barolo appellation, with vineyards spread across eight communes and including historic crus. The estate has been led by Enrico Scavino and his daughters, Enrica and Elisa, reflecting strong family continuity. Their approach centers on careful vineyard management, low yields, native yeasts, and minimal-intervention winemaking to preserve terroir, with Barolo aged in large casks. While no organic, biodynamic, or other formal sustainability certifications are noted, the estate emphasizes thoughtful farming and restrained cellar work.
