Kunde Family Winery

United States

Kunde Family Winery is a multigenerational, family-owned estate in Sonoma Valley, operated by the fourth and fifth generations of the Kunde family. The estate’s volcanic-soil vineyards are sustainably farmed, with practices focused on soil health, native ecosystems, energy efficiency, water conservation, and waste management; the winery is California Sustainable Winegrowing certified. It produces ultra-premium, 100% estate-bottled wines intended to express Sonoma Valley’s distinctive landscape. Since 2011, winemaker Zach Long has intentionally reduced production to prioritize quality, crafting elegant, balanced, place-driven wines. The winery’s long family history, estate focus, and commitment to sustainable viticulture distinguish it as a dedicated Sonoma producer.
