Producer

Füleky Tokaj Estate

Hungary

Founded in 1998, Füleky Tokaj Estate is a Lovas family-owned and operated producer in Hungary’s Tokaj region. The family restored an historic 18th-century mansion and runs a modern artisan winery with an award-winning press house. Its vineyards span six settlements and eleven sites, with a focus on traditional local varieties including Furmint, Hárslevelű and Kabar. The estate produces dry wines as well as classic Tokaji styles such as Aszú, Szamorodni and Eszencia, using traditional methods and single-vineyard selections to express Tokaj’s volcanic terroir. Sustainability initiatives include funding stork-nest stands and installing electric insulation to protect birds. Chief winemaker György Brezovcsik leads the winemaking.
