Emmanuel Giboulot

France

Domaine Emmanuel Giboulot is a family-run Burgundy estate based in Beaune and led by owner-winemaker Emmanuel Giboulot. A long-time advocate of organic farming since 1970 and biodynamics since the mid-1990s, the domaine is certified in both and farms with a low-intervention approach that emphasizes biodiversity, soil health, and natural cycles. Emmanuel took over from his father, Paul Giboulot, who planted Pinot Noir more than 50 years ago. In the cellar, the philosophy is equally restrained, with gentle winemaking, older barrels rather than new oak since 2003, and élevage tailored to each wine. The wines are intended to express fruit purity, minerality, and the character of their individual Burgundy sites.
