Founded in 1859 in Vertus, Duval-Leroy is a six-generation family-owned Champagne house led by Carol Duval-Leroy alongside her sons Julien, Charles and Louis, with Sandrine Logette-Jardin as chef de cave. Rooted in the Côte des Blancs, the house is noted for its knowledge of Grand and Premier Cru terroirs, especially Chardonnay, and for a micro-plot approach with small-volume vinification and extended ageing in chalk cellars. Farming is sustainably managed and largely organic, with pioneering environmental commitments including Sustainable Viticulture certification, organic certification, ISO 9002, renewable energy and rainwater recovery. Its Champagnes are described as expressive, elegant and terroir-driven, built around the art of blending Pinots and Chardonnays.
