Domaine Rion

France

Domaine Rion is a family-run Burgundy estate founded in 1990 by Patrice and Michèle Rion. The domaine farms vineyards in Vosne-Romanée, Chambolle-Musigny, Nuits-Saint-Georges and Vougeot, with organic certification and natural pest control through pheromone diffusion. Its négociant grapes are sourced from growers using environmentally friendly techniques. Ownership and winemaking remain firmly within the Rion family: Patrice and Michèle lead the estate, their son Maxime is increasingly involved, and Bernard and Armelle manage day-to-day operations. Patrice directs the winemaking with assistance from Michèle and Maxime, producing wines from both red and white Burgundy appellations.
