Domaine Notre Dame des Pallières

France

Domaine Notre Dame des Pallières is a historic family estate in Gigondas, at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail. Officially named by Lucien Roux in 1935, it is now run by Claude Roux with Isabelle and Julien, who continue the family’s passion for wine and respect for terroir. Its vineyards span the Trignon valley and other Southern Rhône sites, producing Gigondas, Rasteau, Sablet, Lirac and Côtes du Rhône from varieties including Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah. Old vines grow in diverse alluvial, gravelly, clay and limestone soils, benefiting from sunshine and cool nights. An old semi-underground cellar enables gravity-fed handling and cool subterranean aging.
