Domaine Marcel Richaud

France

Domaine Marcel Richaud is a family-owned estate in Cairanne, in the Rhône Valley’s Vaucluse, founded in 1974 by fifth-generation winemaker Marcel Richaud. Now overseen by his children Thomas, Claire and Edith, the domaine farms Ecocert-certified organic and biodynamic vineyards planted with Grenache, Carignan and Counoise, including some very old vines. Its low-intervention approach uses indigenous yeasts, minimal sulfur, and no fining or filtration, reflecting a natural, hands-off style while remaining rooted in the Richaud family’s long winemaking tradition.
