Producer

Comando G

Spain

Comando G is a boutique Sierra de Gredos producer founded in 2008 by Daniel Landi and Fernando García, who jointly own and run the estate and handle the winemaking. The project focuses on high-altitude old-vine Garnacha, including 50–80-year-old vines rooted in sandy soils derived from granite, slate, and quartz. Farming is organic and biodynamic, with manual or horse-driven plowing, and the cellar approach is low-intervention, including whole-cluster fermentation and minimal aging. The range centers on La Bruja and Rozas, alongside very limited single-vineyard releases, reflecting a strong focus on site and Garnacha expression.
