Château de Mercuès is a relatively small, wine-focused Relais & Châteaux property in southwestern France’s Cahors region, within the Maison Georges Vigouroux / Famille G. Vigouroux group. Georges acquired the estate in 1983. Its 18 hectares of vineyard occupy a distinctive terroir and are devoted to producing six wines, with the estate particularly associated with French Malbec. Alongside its wines, Château de Mercuès offers vineyard visits, tastings, hospitality, and wine tourism.
