Château Boutisse

France

Château Boutisse is the Milhade family’s flagship estate in Saint-Émilion Grand Cru, situated on a clay-limestone plateau. Founded by Damase Milhade in 1938 and acquired by the family in 1996, it is now run by the fourth generation: Marc Milhade oversees vineyard work, production and winemaking, while his sister Élodie manages sales. The estate practices herbicide-free, hands-on viticulture, including manual leaf removal, green harvesting, biodiversity-friendly row grassing and hand-harvesting. Certified HVE Level 3 and ISO 14001, Château Boutisse has been in organic conversion since 2020, reflecting a strong commitment to environmental stewardship and careful, artisanal farming.
