Bonacchi is a family-owned Tuscan producer spanning three generations, with roots in the late 19th century and estates in Chianti Montalbano, Chianti Classico, Montalcino, and Bolgheri. Its vineyards focus strongly on Sangiovese, including Sangiovese Grosso in Montalcino, alongside varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Canaiolo, and Vermentino. The winery combines historic estate holdings, including a former 16th-century mill at Molino della Suga, with modern production and bottling facilities. Bonacchi is certified organic under EU rules and also holds ISO 9001, IFS, and BRCGS certifications, with renewable energy supply noted. Winemaking and quality assurance are overseen by enologist Dott. Ivan Misuri.
