Beulah Violetta

Beulah Violetta is a small-scale estate near Todi in Umbria, owned by James Hird and Annie Conley. The couple are restoring the historic homestead, regenerating the vines and focusing on limited-release wines from a single vineyard. Its 10-hectare vineyard is farmed organically and is being converted to biodynamic viticulture, a process begun in 2022 with full certification expected in 2026. The estate’s first wine, the 2023 Stesso Stesso Rosso, is a field blend of Sangiovese, Merlot and Sagrantino.
