Producer

Agricola Punica

Italy

Founded in 2002 in Sardinia’s Basso Sulcis, Agricola Punica is a collaborative project between Tenuta San Guido, Cantina di Santadi and Antonello Pilloni, with the late Giacomo Tachis playing a central role as founder, shareholder and winemaker alongside Sebastiano Rosa. Based around the Barrua and Narcao estates in the island’s southwest, the winery produces a focused range of red and white IGT Isola dei Nuraghi wines from native Sulcis grapes alongside some French varieties. Its vineyards lie in a sea-influenced landscape with sandy, calcareous, deep stony soils, and the estate emphasizes careful vineyard work carried out with respect for the environment and sustainable methods.
