Virgen del Galir is a Valdeorras producer founded in 2002, with vineyards in Éntoma and Las Ermitas. Since 2017 it has been owned and operated by the historic CVNE (CUNE) wine group, while retaining the Virgen del Galir name. The estate focuses on old-vine, single-terroir white wines and follows a sustainable, low-intervention approach with minimal chemical inputs. Winemaking includes manual whole-bunch pressing and spontaneous fermentation in clay amphorae. The project is led by winemakers Jorge Navascués and Miguel Tienda.
