The Eyrie Vineyards

United States

The Eyrie Vineyards is a family-owned estate in McMinnville, Oregon, founded in 1965 by David and Diana Lett. A pioneer of Pinot noir and Pinot gris in the Willamette Valley, the winery produced the region’s first Pinot noir vintage in 1970 and remains led by the second generation, proprietor and winemaker Jason Lett. Its organically certified vineyards are farmed without irrigation, tillage, herbicides, insecticides, or systemic chemicals, with hand-harvesting and wild-yeast fermentations. The estate focuses on terroir-driven Pinot noir, Chardonnay, and other varieties, including single-vineyard and library bottlings, while continuing an individualistic, artisanal winegrowing tradition.
