Seifried Estate

New Zealand

Seifried is a multigenerational family-owned estate in Nelson, founded in 1973 by Hermann and Agnes Seifried and still run by the Seifried family, with Heidi, Chris and Anna managing operations. A leading family winery in New Zealand, it is sustainably accredited across both vineyards and winery through Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand, with regular external audits and a strong focus on water, soil and energy stewardship. The estate works across multiple vineyard sites and grape varieties, with Sauvignon Blanc a major focus. Its range spans premium estate wines, single-vineyard selections and more approachable regional bottlings, reflecting both established vines and a broad estate-grown fruit base.
