2017 · Tokaji 6 Puttonyos Aszú

Founded in 1997 and owned and operated by the Hwang family, Királyudvar is based in Tokaj, with six grand cru vineyards in Mád and Bodrogkeresztúr planted on volcanic rhyolite tuff soils. The estate adopted biodynamic viticulture in 2008 and has been fully biodynamically certified since 2011, as well as organic. Winemaking is led by Szabolcs Juhász. The focus is on Furmint, Hárslevelű and a small amount of Muskotály, expressed through sparkling Tokaji, dry and demi-sec Furmint, cuvées, Aszú 6 Puttonyos and the rare Esszencia.
