Villadoria is a family-owned Barolo estate in Serralunga d’Alba, founded in 1959 by Pietro and Pietrina Lanzavecchia and now managed by the third and fourth generations, Daniele and his daughter Paola. Its vineyards include the Lazzarito cru, planted on calcareous marl of marine sedimentary origin, and the estate also grows Merlot, Muscat and hazelnuts. The family prioritizes sustainable viticulture, avoiding pesticides and chemical fertilizers, and is a founding member of the Associazione Nazionale Biotipico; the wines are marketed as vegan, without cited organic certification. Winemaking, ageing and bottling are carried out with careful attention to vineyard expression, producing classic wines intended to reflect the distinctive character and long tradition of the Barolo territory.
